What is "NGSS-Aligned"?
There is a lot of talk these days about materials being “NGSS-Aligned”. But what does that actually mean?
Is it enough to just cover the Disciplinary Core Ideas? No. True alignment requires weaving together the three dimensions:
- Science and Engineering Practices
- Crosscutting Concepts
- Disciplinary Core Ideas
It’s not a checklist; it’s a way of making sense of the world.
