David teaches science at Singapore American School, where he is also the Department Coordinator for High School Science. Prior to moving to Singapore, he spent 14 years teaching in New York, where he also served as a curriculum associate.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Stony Brook University, a Master's in Teaching Biology, a Master's in Technological Systems Management, Administrative Certification in New York State, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC.

David's work focuses on equity-minded, progressive science education pedagogies centered on the Next Generation Science Standards, combined with advocacy for open educational technology use.
