David is a science educator at Singapore American School, where he serves as Department Coordinator for High School Science. Prior to moving to Singapore, he spent 14 years teaching in New York, where he also served as a curriculum associate and instructional coach.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Stony Brook University, a Master's in Teaching Biology, a Master's in Technological Systems Management, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC.

David's work focuses on equity-minded, progressive science education pedagogies centered on the Next Generation Science Standards, combined with advocacy for open educational technology use.
